Job Title: Business Analyst

Initialize IT is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support our ERP system implementation programme. The successful candidate will work closely with Subject Matter Experts to elicit and define business, financial, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Elicit and document requirements through interviews, meetings, questionnaires, and site visits.
  • Model output using workflows, storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods within a detailed specification.
  • Create new process flows for operational procedures, such as on-boarding new staff and managing staff moves.
  • Carry out testing (unit, system, regression) and co-ordinate UAT, writing detailed use cases, scenarios, and test cases.
  • Participate in or contribute to user support via our global service desk as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' solid Business Analyst experience.
  • High level of written English required.
  • University degree or diploma in Business Analysis, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • BCS Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent desirable.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modelling, verification, and methodology development.
  • Full software development lifecycle experience.
  • Experience writing and executing test cases.
  • Technical ability, e.g. ability to write SQL.
Personal Attributes:
  • Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and technical members of interdisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
