JOB OVERVIEW

Due to a series of recent project acquisitions, Wood is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to operate within our team, focusing on a diverse range of renewable energy, oil & gas, petrochemical, and energy transition initiatives. This position offers a staff role with promising opportunities for the right individual. The work arrangement will be hybrid, requiring 3-4 days per week in the office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee, guide, and support team members engaged in all aspects of supply chain operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and relevant reporting standards.
  • Responsible for the effective establishment and execution of all project supply chain processes, protocols, and activities.
  • Ensure that all supply chain operations align with the project execution plan/schedule and/or contracting strategy, maintaining approved budgets and compliance with project protocols.
  • Develop and disseminate the project-specific procurement execution plan and/or contracting strategy, including the integration of computerized systems such as Oracle, AMUSE, and Materia.
  • Create and manage the project/procurement status report (PSR) in accordance with project/client deadlines and current/estimated lead times, promptly notifying the project manager of any delays.
  • Conduct regular PSR meetings with clients, procurement, engineering, and project management teams to ensure timely delivery of pre-order requirements.
  • Set priorities, delegate tasks, and review complex aspects of the supply chain workload.
  • Ensure that client contracts, terms and conditions, schedules, change control procedures, and commercial frameworks are integrated into project supply chain activities.
  • Ensure all stakeholders comprehend both Wood's and suppliers' contractual obligations and responsibilities.
  • Utilize the Wood Approved Supplier Register (ASR), supplemented by project/client approved supplier registers for supplier evaluation, auditing, and selection.
  • Conduct supplier performance evaluations and ongoing management, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure that the supply chain team operates in accordance with the Wood Supply Chain Code of Conduct, complying with all statutory and legal requirements, and maintaining accurate and fully auditable documentation.

  • Degree or equivalent in a related field such as engineering, contract law, business studies, or supply chain management.
  • Experience with Subcontract Agreements and Framework Agreements.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard Subcontract forms.
  • Expertise in Complex Tactical Procurement.
  • Knowledge of Logistics and Materials Management.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Understanding of client contract requirements.
  • Proficiency in Supply Chain Principles and techniques.
