Role Responsibilities

Located in a key automotive hub, our focus is on providing engineering development and client management for various automotive manufacturers. The primary function of this role is to deliver support for Diesel fuel injection systems tailored to our European Diesel clientele.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Overseeing customer project management, simulation, and testing.
  • Managing relationships with customers and suppliers throughout engine development, including new business initiatives.
  • Contributing to change point analysis to identify necessary validations.
  • Collaborating with team members to assess customer validation processes.
Main Duties

Your specific duties will include:

  • Taking responsibility for designated aspects of the Diesel Fuel Injection Equipment System, with tasks tailored to your experience and expertise.
  • Engaging in discussions with clients regarding component applications.
  • Conducting system analyses, including specifications and pump capacity evaluations.
  • Performing calibration tasks such as rail pressure control and injector characterization.
  • Participating in pre-development activities, including control system development and engine demonstration projects.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A good degree or equivalent qualification (2:1 or higher) in Mechanical, Automotive, or Electronics Engineering.
  • Strong theoretical knowledge coupled with relevant Diesel experience, preferably with a background in customer interactions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive mindset and clear communication abilities.
  • A proven track record of project management and delivering results in a professional setting.
  • A solid understanding of diesel engine combustion and control systems.
