Position Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer

Shift Pattern: Continental

Salary: £41,500

Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Process Engineer is tasked with overseeing the functionality, maintenance, and preservation of production machinery and equipment. This role ensures that all machinery operates at peak efficiency, is routinely inspected, and is maintained in accordance with established protocols. The objective is to meet production goals as specified in the operational schedule.

Primary Duties:
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained in a safe and dependable state.
  • Conduct and document scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PPM) checks as assigned and within your expertise.
  • Execute mechanical, electrical, and setup tasks within the manufacturing facility, including working in any unit as necessary, based on your skill set.
  • Support the training of fellow Production Technicians and engage in any required training to improve your competencies.
  • Adhere to safe working practices and comply with departmental policies and regulations consistently.
  • Manage and adjust all machine settings as needed.
  • Notify Management of any incidents or potential issues that may lead to equipment failure.
  • Configure equipment to meet required standards, ensuring optimal conditions for cycle times and quality benchmarks.
  • Reduce material waste effectively.
  • Ensure that all relevant procedures are executed in accordance with the company's ISO 9001 certification.
