Job SummaryA leading manufacturer in the Cheshire area is seeking an experienced Digital Engineering Leader to join their engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing a team of engineers across maintenance and projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Engineering Leader to take on a new challenge and contribute to the growth and success of the company.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee a team of engineers across maintenance and projects.
- Develop and implement proactive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Lead the team in reactive breakdown management and response, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Develop and implement development and progression plans for engineers on site, promoting career growth and succession planning.
- Facilitate daily engineering meetings to discuss performance, ongoing work, and identify areas for improvement.
- Work collaboratively with the team to identify and implement improvements in processes and machine output, driving efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure adherence to site health and safety rules and legislation, promoting a safe working environment.
- Time-served or recognised apprenticeship in a relevant engineering subject.
- Experience working in a similar senior-level role, ideally in a similar industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, confident in a manufacturing setting.
