Shop Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Manager to join our team at Cameron Clarke Associates. As a Shop Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of our retail store, including sales, customer service, and staff management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of the shop, including sales, customer service, and staff management.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales and revenue.
  • Manage stock levels, replenish stock as needed, and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Process transactions, manage cash handling, and reconcile EPOS and banking procedures.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve customer service and sales performance.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies to raise the profile of the shop and organization in the local community.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of sales growth and customer service excellence.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement opportunities to improve sales and customer service performance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including sales, customer service, and stock management.
