Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Swimming Instructor to join our team at the Isle of Wight Council. As a Swimming Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming lessons to individuals of all ages and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality swimming lessons to clients
- Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of clients
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for clients
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve team goals
- Contribute to the development of swimming programs and services
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in swimming instruction and customer care
- Experience working in a leisure environment
- Confident and outgoing personality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Hours:
The successful candidate will be required to work varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays. The availability of hours cannot be guaranteed, and candidates may not be contacted immediately.
Location:
The Isle of Wight Council operates several leisure centres across the island, including Medina Leisure Centre and The Heights Leisure Centre.
