Hours: Monday - Thursday 10PM - 6AM, Friday 5PM - 10PM
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled engineer with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement to join our clients growing Operations team at their Diss location.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and safety of their processing equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide responsive engineering support to the Site Operations Management Team to maintain and enhance machine availability, efficiency, and reliability.
- Identify and resolve faults in processing equipment and ancillary devices, ensuring quick recovery and minimal downtime.
- Monitor and adjust equipment and process conditions to consistently achieve 'right first time' quality standards.
- Maximise equipment utilisation by executing effective preventative maintenance, timely calibrations, and routine safety checks.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Perform maintenance and repairs during factory shutdown periods.
Apprenticeship trained or HNC qualified in an electrical or mechanical discipline.
Experience within a manufacturing environment with both mechanical and electrical skills.
