About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at a large manufacturer based in Diss. As a Night Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining site assets via the planned maintenance system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain site assets via the planned maintenance system
  • Respond to breakdowns with urgency and reduce downtime wherever possible
  • Fault find on electrical circuits and have good knowledge of PLC systems, ideally Siemens S5/7 or Allen Bradley
  • Have a good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, steam systems, and mechanical drive systems
  • Work well in a team environment and adhere to health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

  • Hold relevant Engineering qualifications in Electrical and Mechanical engineering to NVQ/City & Guilds level 3
  • Have solid manufacturing experience, ideally within FMCG
  • Be flexible as some overtime will be required during busy periods
