Job Description:As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with Electrical wholesalers, Builders Merchants, Heating & Ventilation accounts, and OEM accounts within the South Central region. Your primary objective will be to identify growth opportunities and increase sales within the region.
Key Responsibilities:- Business development (70%), market development and communications (30%)
- Plan and schedule regular call patterns for all accounts in the defined region
- Develop relationships with key personnel within your customer base
- Work with developing the region and looking for new business within your channels
- Present promotions to the trade to gain extra business and new listings
- Achieve all budgets and targets set for each quarter
- Good knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and the company reporting system Phocas
- Attend quarterly sales meetings
- Produce and issue monthly reports on time and accurately, showing development of the market
- Effectively communicate with the support teams at the Head Office
- Continuously increase business knowledge and learn new skills through technical training and personal development
- 1-3 years of proven field sales experience
- Experience in the electrical wholesale/Builders Merchant market desirable
- Industry experience beneficial (technical/HVAC), training will be provided
- Drive and determination to succeed
- Team player with a flexible attitude to work
- Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM tools
- Manual driving license
