As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in our Canteen facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and replenish stock as required to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Ensure the Canteen seating area and kitchen are cleaned to a high standard, adhering to health and safety guidelines
  • Carry out till duties on a daily basis, handling customer transactions efficiently and accurately
  • Serve food to customers, maintaining a high level of customer service at all times
  • Wash and circulate dishes, including plates, cutlery, pots, and pans, to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Assist with food preparation when required, working collaboratively with the Canteen team
  • Responsible for closing the Canteen in the evenings, ensuring all tasks are completed and the area is secure
Essential Criteria:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all customers
  • A proven ability to provide a high level of customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences
  • A proven ability to work as part of a busy team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Ability to travel and work at private functions outside of standard working hours from time to time
Desirable Criteria:
  • Hold a current food hygiene certificate, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Previous experience of working in a busy Canteen environment, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service
