**Assistant Buyer**

**Job Overview**

To ensure the company obtains the best possible prices, quality of material, delivery times
and payment terms for all items purchased.

**Main Activities/Tasks**
- Ensure that all materials are sourced, ordered and delivered in a timely and cost

effective manner to meet weekly production requirements.
- Monitor Vendor Performance in terms of reporting any failures in quality of materials,

delivery, price and other aspects of the supply chain.
- Administrative duties for Senior Buyer.
- Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management

**Essential Criteria**:

- GCSE Maths & English at Grade C or above
- Strong Organisational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines whilst paying particular attention to details
- Experience of using Microsoft Office including Excel.

**Desirable Criteria**:
Due to the nature of the role preference will be given to applicants demonstrating the

following desirable criteria:

- Previous Purchasing admin/assistant experience
