Position Overview

AVEVA is on the lookout for emerging finance talents to launch their careers within our Finance Shared Services Centre. This global team will provide support to colleagues across various regions.

In the role of a "Record to Report" Finance Associate, you will transform raw financial data into actionable and insightful reports, contributing to the integrity of our financial data in accordance with accounting standards.

Throughout your tenure, AVEVA will support your journey towards achieving accounting qualifications.

Required Experience: Ideally, candidates should possess approximately 2-3 years of experience in a corporate finance environment, along with familiarity with enterprise resource planning software. We highly value attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and a sense of curiosity.

Employment Type: Full-time regular Hybrid working, allowing for a combination of remote and in-office work. There may be occasional requirements for later shift patterns on a rotational basis to accommodate different time zones, with a maximum of 37 hours per week and limited late shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collecting, processing, and presenting timely and accurate financial information.
  • Posting general ledger journal entries.
  • Conducting balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Participating in month-end closing activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in reporting within a corporate finance team.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Proficiency in an additional European language is advantageous.

Team Dynamics

The Shared Service Centre serves as the backbone of AVEVA's daily financial operations. Our team of 80 professionals provides essential control and decision-making support across accounts receivable and payable, expense management, general ledger accounting, and finance data management.

With an established team in Kuala Lumpur managing the Asia Pacific region, we are expanding our Cambridge team to support activities in Europe, Canada, and the US.

You will join a growing and supportive group dedicated to ensuring that AVEVA's financial transactions are timely, efficient, and responsible.
