Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Jupiter Recruitment. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents and ensuring their safety and dignity.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the care team, ensuring high standards of care are provided, and mentoring and motivating colleagues to achieve effective running of the home. You will also be responsible for undertaking nursing tasks, liaising with health and social care professionals, and promoting residents' independence, choice, and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a person in charge, standing in for the Manager where required
  • Ensure high standards of care are provided to the residents
  • Lead the care team during shifts, ensuring the team meets residents' medical, physical, and emotional requirements
  • Mentor and motivate colleagues to ensure effective running of the home
  • Champion residents' safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement within the service
  • Undertake nursing tasks, such as distributing medication, dressings, catheterisations, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions
  • Liaise with health and social care professionals to maintain a holistic approach to care and well-being of service users
  • Promote residents' independence, choice, and dignity by delivering best standards of care
Requirements:
  • Understanding of care planning processes and be fully familiar with clinical assessment tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Able to work within a team as well as independently
  • Be able to demonstrate initiative and be adaptive and flexible
  • Able to show a can-do attitude always
  • Experience with the elderly
