About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Arrow Electronics, Inc. as a key member of our VMware team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving partner development, enablement, and vendor solution focus within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage relationships with potential customers to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth.
  • Assess existing and potential customers to define product needs and develop business plans to meet those needs.
  • Execute sales growth plans and drive results through demand identification and demand creation opportunities.
  • Plan and oversee new business initiatives to expand our customer base and increase revenue.
  • Research organizations and key stakeholders to find new opportunities and develop strategic business relationships.
  • Develop quotes and proposals for clients and ensure that they meet their needs and expectations.
  • Develop goals for the development team and business growth and ensure that they are met.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar position within a relevant sector, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the market and a good understanding of the added value that a distributor provides to the channel.
  • VMware emerging technologies VCF / VVF would be desirable, but not essential.
  • Effective communication with people at all levels and fluency in English.
