VMware Growth Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Arrow Electronics, Inc. as a key member of our VMware team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving partner development, enablement, and vendor solution focus within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage relationships with potential customers to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth.
- Assess existing and potential customers to define product needs and develop business plans to meet those needs.
- Execute sales growth plans and drive results through demand identification and demand creation opportunities.
- Plan and oversee new business initiatives to expand our customer base and increase revenue.
- Research organizations and key stakeholders to find new opportunities and develop strategic business relationships.
- Develop quotes and proposals for clients and ensure that they meet their needs and expectations.
- Develop goals for the development team and business growth and ensure that they are met.
- Experience in a similar position within a relevant sector, preferably in the technology industry.
- Strong knowledge of the market and a good understanding of the added value that a distributor provides to the channel.
- VMware emerging technologies VCF / VVF would be desirable, but not essential.
- Effective communication with people at all levels and fluency in English.
