BUSINESS DEVELOPMENTMANAGER

At Arrow's EnterpriseComputing Solutions, we are looking for a Business DevelopmentManager who can drive partner development, enablement and vendorsolution focus within the VMware team. The role will involve theassessment of existing and potential customers, defining productneeds, sales execution, and business planfocus.

The ideal candidate will be required totalk around solutions focusing on the VMware portfolio This is anemerging part of the VMware business, therefore a technical mindedBusiness Development Manager would be ideal to be to discuss theproducts/ technologies.

What will yoube doing at Arrow ECS?
  • Youwill be responsible for developing, managing, and creating therelationship between Arrow Global services and potentialcustomers.
  • Identify new business opportunities- including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products,and services.
  • Ensure the execution of salesgrowth plans. Drives results through demand identification anddemand creation opportunities
  • Plan and overseenew business initiatives.
  • Researchorganizations and key stakeholders to find newopportunities.
  • Find and develop new markets andimprove sales by leveraging Arrow's Portfolio ofservices.
  • Attend conferences, meetings, andindustry events.
  • Develop quotes and proposalsfor clients.
  • Develop goals for the developmentteam and business growth and ensure they aremet.


What are welooking for?
  • You haveexperience in a similar position within a relevantsector.
  • Can build and develop strategicbusiness relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of themarket, and a good understanding of the added value that adistributor provides to the channel.
  • VMwareemerging technologies VCF / VVF would be desirable, but notessential.
  • Effective communication with peopleat all levels.
  • Fluency inEnglish.
