Asset Management Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Management Team Lead to join our team at Pearson. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality End-Point Assessments (EPAs) and maintaining the integrity of our assessment processes.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and Training: Contribute to the recruitment and training of new Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) assessors within the allocated team.
- Assessment Practice Development: Support IQA assessors to develop assessment practice through face-to-face and remote standardisation activities.
- Sampling and Quality Assurance: Undertake remote sampling of IQA assessors' assessments, in line with the overarching sampling strategy.
- Accompaniment and Support: Accompany IQA assessors, remotely or on-site, when required.
- Analysis and Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing analysis, lessons learned, and continuous improvement.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records to withstand internal audit and external quality audit.
- Professional Development: Take an active role in own professional development.
- Policies and Procedures: Adhere and implement all Pearson and regulatory policies, procedures, and guidance documents.
- Reporting: Produce a quarterly report based on feedback from team leaders, internal quality assurers, and IQA assessors to identify any trends.
- Risk Management: Identify, report, and escalate any risks which could compromise the validity and accuracy of any end-point assessment.
- Qualifications and Experience: Hold an internal quality assurance qualification for a minimum of three years and have experience of complying with quality assurance/regulatory requirements.
- DBS: Current DBS.
- Time Management and Organisation: Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Technical Knowledge: Sufficient and relevant technical knowledge of the legislation, regulatory frameworks, systems, technology, tools, and processes associated with the EPA(s).
- Personal IT Equipment: Have personal IT equipment capable of running Pearson required software.
- Email Account: Have a personal and secure email account.
- Postal Address: Have a postal address in the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland, Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man.
- Travel: Allow additional time for travel, when making EPA arrangements.
