About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Children's Home Manager to lead our children's residential home in Macclesfield. As the key player responsible for the smooth running of the home, you will ensure high standards of care are met daily.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by Example: Provide direction and support for your team, creating a positive environment where everyone thrives.
  • Promote Therapeutic Care: Ensure that therapeutic practices are at the heart of everything we do, creating tailored interventions to meet the emotional and behavioural needs of each young person.
  • Ensure Compliance: Oversee the operational, regulatory, and safeguarding aspects of the home, ensuring everything runs smoothly and to the highest standard.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Pay: Earn £40,000 – £50,000 per year, with up to £10,000 in performance bonuses based on achieving goals and standards.
  • Career Development: Achieve a £5,000 bonus for passing Ofsted's Fit Person interview and receive ongoing training and support for qualifications such as NVQ.
  • Work-Life Balance: Enjoy regular Monday to Friday hours, with an on-call rota, giving you flexibility.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 4 years of experience working within a residential care setting for children, with at least 12 months in a deputy or management role.
  • Qualifications: Ideally, you hold or are working towards a Level 5 qualification in Children, Young People, and Family Practitioner. We also welcome experienced Deputies with a Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare or equivalent Level 4 qualifications looking to take a step up.
  • Leadership Skills: You have the ability to motivate and guide a team, along with a deep commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality care for young people.
  • Full UK Driving Licence: Required for the role.
