Your Role
The ERP Solutions Lead will serve as the technical authority for an ERP technology platform. This innovative approach to systems development is a fresh initiative for the organization.

The Solutions Lead will collaborate with other Product Owners across various platforms to implement significant, iterative changes that align with and support the evolving needs of the organization and user experience.


The individual in this position will be accountable for ensuring that the platform consistently delivers value to the organization through ongoing evolution and refinement of systems and related processes.

This role demands exceptional stakeholder management skills, as the Solutions Lead will guide a cross-functional and multi-disciplinary team of technology and business professionals while also representing technology interests throughout the organization.

The Solutions Lead will report to the Director of Technology and will be responsible for the overall management of the team, requiring a proven background in systems management and enhancement within a digital services context, ideally with a solid understanding of public sector operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the line management of developers and business analysts within the Product Team.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with a diverse group of business stakeholders to drive product development in alignment with evolving business goals.
  • Create a detailed roadmap for product enhancements, balancing both functionality and foundational platform improvements.
  • Ensure consistent communication of this roadmap to maintain transparency among all stakeholders.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, collaborating with stakeholders, partners, and customers to facilitate a robust product discovery process.
  • Establish and communicate a compelling technology vision that is effectively delivered.
  • Be accountable for the approval of user stories, business rules, and, when necessary, wireframes and visual designs essential for executing the product roadmap.
  • Participate as a member of the agile delivery team to leverage the team's creativity and skills, fostering decision-making and value creation within the team.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the product through market analysis and benchmarking.
  • Develop business strategies for ongoing investment in digital products and realize the return on investment.
Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner or in a similar capacity within an agile software development environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of information systems and their functionalities.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliverables.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with user research and usability testing methodologies.
  • Analytical mindset, capable of utilizing data to inform product decisions.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is highly desirable.
