Job Title: Senior Communications Design Engineer

Role Overview:

As a Senior Communications Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative engineering solutions and technical input for various projects. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of build activities, defect resolution, and effective change management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and engineering solutions for project delivery.
  • Interpret contractual and performance requirements for systems, aiding in the establishment of acceptance criteria throughout the design and implementation phases.
  • Generate essential documentation for design reviews, including diagrams, technical specifications, and supporting calculations.
  • Assist in conducting design reviews and presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Review supplier documentation to ensure compliance and proper recording.
  • Support integrated performance and acceptance activities, ensuring successful equipment acceptance from suppliers to customer system acceptance.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in system or equipment design within communications or electronics.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across various engineering lifecycle phases.
  • A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent experience in an engineering role.

Desirable Skills:

  • Progress towards relevant Professional Registration (Ceng).
  • Experience in designing systems or equipment for diverse wireless access technologies.
  • Strong technical report writing skills with experience in requirements definition and management.
