Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute maintenance and repairs on a diverse range of multifunctional printers (MFPs) and production printing equipment, adhering to established technical standards.
  • Respond to technical service requests at client locations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation through the use of service support tools and regular communication with the service control team.
  • Organize and manage a vehicle or spare parts kit to minimize downtime and ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Oversee the management of a cloud-based digital document repository, ensuring regular updates and synchronization.
  • Ensure the company vehicle is maintained according to guidelines and is kept in a clean and professional condition.
  • Keep accurate records of work-related expenses and submit them in a timely manner.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills and product knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operational support.
  • Communicate effectively within the technical team regarding any observations or concerns related to customer service or equipment performance.

Candidate Profile:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in servicing and maintaining color and monochrome MFP devices, including various volume machines, or a strong background in electro-mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with connectivity solutions, including installation of print drivers and basic network connections.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Successful completion of DBS and SC vetting is required for this position.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of IT networking and connectivity, including network scanning setup and full MFP installations on print servers.

Compensation Package:

  • Competitive salary up to £32,000.
