Position:
Versatile Maintenance Technician

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm)

Compensation:
£46,000 per annum + £2,500 Annual bonus distributed in April.

The organization seeks a Versatile Maintenance Technician capable of maintaining a high-speed, fully automated bakery that produces a variety of products.

The site features a range of equipment, including Conveyors, Ovens, Packaging machinery, Vision inspection systems, weighing systems, pallet wrappers, liquid filling machines, dryers, seasoning machines, and robotic systems.

The role entails 60% Mechanical and 40% Electrical Maintenance, encompassing both reactive support and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).

Candidates should possess City & Guilds, NVQ, or BTEC Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance, ideally acquired through a recognized apprenticeship.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a high-speed manufacturing environment, preferably within the Food or FMCG sectors.

  • Proficient Mechanical and Electrical skills are essential, with a strong ability in troubleshooting and repairing machinery.
