Job Description:

Leicestershire County Care Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team in Leicestershire. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical reactive and planned maintenance work across our 12 care homes in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out electrical maintenance and repair work to ensure the safety and efficiency of our electrical systems.
  • Install, inspect, and test electrical equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults, using a range of test equipment and hand tools.
  • Liaise with the Estates Department to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Undertake PAT testing of portable and fixed electrical equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Relevant trade qualification for an electrician with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Excellent understanding of electrical installation techniques and methods.
  • Full clean driving license, with the ability to travel across Leicestershire.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
