Service Technician for Heavy Machinery

Main Responsibilities of the Service Technician:

  • Experienced technician responsible for servicing various types of Heavy Plant Equipment.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and address breakdowns on machinery.
  • Perform warranty and damage repairs.
  • Travel to different sites across the country.
  • Provide clear and comprehensive reports of work completed and necessary repairs using a technician's tablet.
  • Manage all tasks to ensure optimal recovery rates.

Work Experience Requirements for the Service Technician:

  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the Plant industry.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or an equivalent qualification is essential.
  • CSCS card holder is preferred.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and software, including engine diagnostics.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and conscientiousness is required.
  • Dealer experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for manufacturer training sessions.
