Job Overview

Aramark UK is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join our Supply Chain team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring seamless data management, contract administration, and general administration.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management:

  • Ensure daily tasks related to system updates and pricing updates are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Update both Pelican PI system and Aramark Aratrade system with regards to pricing, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Assist and lead in data preparation for category reviews and tenders, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Request, review, analyze, and report on Supplier Data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in analysis of rebate tracker data and the chasing of trackers with suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Support Sourcing Team with tender support requests for both Aramark and GPO businesses, providing expert guidance and advice.

Contracts:

  • Coordinate new supplier set-ups and approvals through our onboarding processes and systems in conjunction with the Supply Chain Team, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Support the Strategic Sourcing Teams on contract build and execution, including loading onto our Contract Software System, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Support business sourcing requirements and ensure rebate detail from contracts is accurately captured on the trackers, providing valuable insights and recommendations.

General Administration:

  • Support the Strategic Sourcing Teams to ensure that the product and price files are continuously and accurately updated, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Support the Team on key project deliveries, providing expert guidance and advice.
  • Assist the Directors and Managers in ensuring business compliance with company policies and procedures, ensuring a culture of excellence.
  • Communicate effectively with logistics and disseminate information across the buying team, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordination.

Supplier Performance Management:

  • Compliance report analysis for key suppliers, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide input to Monthly Supplier Reviews, ensuring timely and accurate feedback.
  • Support and attend Monthly Supplier Reviews where required, providing expert guidance and advice.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a buying function or procurement team is beneficial but not essential.
  • Ability to self-start and work off own initiatives, demonstrating a high level of autonomy and motivation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team focus, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordination.
  • Ability to establish, build, and harness long-term relationships both internally and externally, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and expertise.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks and activities.
  • Ability to work and deliver to deadlines, demonstrating a high level of time management and organization.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and differentiate between urgent and important tasks, ensuring a high level of productivity and efficiency.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical ability, particularly through Excel, ensuring accurate and timely data analysis and reporting.
