SEND Specialist Tutor Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Specialist Tutor to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a SEND Specialist Tutor, you will work with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) who require bespoke tuition packages on a 1:1 basis.

The Opportunity

Our team is committed to providing high-quality education and support to children with SEND. We are looking for a tutor who can create, plan, and deliver tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' education and boost attainment levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to pupils with SEND
  • Assess and plan lessons to meet individual pupils' needs
  • Monitor and report on pupils' progress
  • Work closely with families and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to education and support
Requirements
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience of working with children with SEND
  • Ability to create and deliver engaging and effective lessons
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
