We are seeking a skilled Planner/Senior Planner to join our team, who will play a crucial role in assisting with bid submissions, producing accurate programmes, and methodologies to secure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Programme Development: Provide timely, effective, and professional programmes for bid proposals and project delivery, ensuring accurate lead times and critical paths.
  2. Project Understanding: Understand each project in detail, establishing programmes around key milestones, highlighting lead times and critical paths.
  3. Methodology Development: Provide clear and concise methodologies to devise how the project will be delivered, taking into account project-specific aspects and risks.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with senior members of the project team to assist them in developing realistic target construction programmes.
  5. Progress Monitoring: Highlight areas of concern in the construction progress and review mitigation measures with the project team, including compensation events and their cause and effect.
  6. Support to Project Managers: Assist Project Managers with planning-related matters and attend meetings with project teams and clients.
  7. Process Improvement: Develop ideas to drive improvement and consistency in the timely delivery of our preconstruction bids and live projects.
About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Planner/Senior Planner who possesses a thorough understanding and experience in the use of project management software, extensive knowledge in programme and project management, and project planning.

You will have excellent management skills, the ability to work well in a team environment, and contribute across a business unit, managing projects simultaneously without compromising on standards and quality.

A keen eye for detail, ability to draw on project experience to identify and mitigate programme risks, and a full UK driving licence are essential.
