About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at Encompass (Dorset), a specialist service providing essential care and support to individuals with complex health needs, including Epilepsy, Severe Learning Disabilities, and Mobility challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth coordination within the team.
  • Ensure adherence to SALT guidelines and other care protocols, including support with medication, PEG feeding, mobility, and personal care.
  • Manage service risks and adhere to safeguarding practices.
  • Lead and support a competent care team, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Ensure regulatory requirements are met in all aspects of service provision.
  • Respond effectively to the emotional and practical needs of the people we support.
Our Offer

  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Pay Scale: £12.79
  • Contract: Permanent

About You

You are a compassionate, team-oriented individual with excellent communication skills. You may already hold or be working towards a QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care. Above all, you are passionate about providing both emotional and practical support to those with complex needs.
