Key Responsibilities:

As a Finance Manager, you will report directly to the Finance Director and oversee all financial operations, providing strategic insights to senior leadership.

  • Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring precision in task execution.
  • Conduct month-end processes, including the preparation of schedules, journals, and reconciliations.
  • Perform financial reporting and analysis, delivering comprehensive explanations and conducting variance assessments.
  • Manage cash flow and creditor payments to maintain financial health.
  • Oversee fixed asset management and inventory control to protect company resources.
  • Administer payroll processes and oversee weekly payroll activities, ensuring effective credit control.
  • Handle financial processing tasks, including sales ledger, purchase ledger, and expense management.
  • Provide operational support through costing and margin analysis.
  • Enhance commercial and financial acumen across the organization, improving decision-making and profitability.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will be ACCA/CIMA/ICAS qualified or demonstrate the ability and willingness to achieve this qualification.
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience in working independently while leading an engaged finance team.
Fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ICAS) candidates are preferred, but part-qualified individuals will also be considered.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
