Job Title: Emergency / Advanced Care Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency / Advanced Care Practitioner to join our team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Emergency Department.

As an Emergency / Advanced Care Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing and managing patients with a wide range of conditions, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.

You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in an Emergency Department or Acute front door setting, with a strong background in clinical practice and a passion for delivering excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients with a wide range of conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the needs of patients
  • Contribute to the development of our Emergency Department, including participating in quality improvement initiatives and education programs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and transitions
Requirements
  • NMC 1st Level Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Paramedic/Physiotherapist
  • Completed or working towards-Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice or PGDip as a minimum must include: 1. Pharmacology 3. Clinical decision making and diagnostics
  • IRMER Regulation trained
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
  • EPALS
