Job Title: Network and Digital Discipline Manager

Wood Digital Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Network and Digital Discipline Manager to join our EMEA Systems Integration business. This is a new position as part of our continued growth plans.

About the Role

The Discipline Manager will be responsible for managing a team of Discipline Team Leads and their direct reports to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the Network and Digital department. The overall size of the department is expected to be 16 Engineers of varying levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Functional management and development of discipline engineering resources
  • Governance of discipline practices and procedures
  • Acting as a discipline subject matter expert to support and drive engineering excellence across the wider organization
  • Leading by example, consistently displaying and enforcing the Company's values and behaviors
Requirements
  • ISCED Level 6 / Bachelor's (minimum) or Level 7 / Master's (preferred) degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • Chartership with a relevant professional body / Professional Engineer License or equivalent is an advantage
  • Extensive broad and deep experience of engineering delivery in one or more relevant industry sectors
  • Expert level experience and understanding of discipline engineering tools and processes
  • Broad understanding of the business drivers for relevant industry sector clients

This is a hybrid role that can be based anywhere in the UK, with mobility and travel to customer sites and face-to-face meetings with colleagues expected. Applicants must be able to pass the HMG Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check.
