We are seeking a Director of Human Capital Operations to oversee all Human Capital Operations activities across the European region. Based in our London Baker Street office, this role will serve as the primary point of contact to the European Region Heads, COO, and Director of Talent on matters involving Human Capital Operations, particularly topics and issues around Employee Relations.

This is a challenging and important leadership position within the Human Capital Operations team, requiring strategic thinking, hands-on oversight, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure high client satisfaction and maintain a high level of Human Capital subject matter knowledge.

Working closely with the Director of Talent in Europe, you will provide proactive leadership with a keen focus on aligning Human Capital initiatives with organizational and client initiatives, ensuring that each step taken supports broader business goals effectively.

Oliver Wyman operates a hybrid working policy, and we will require the successful candidate to work from our London Baker Street office for at least 60% of the time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all Human Capital Operations activities across the European region
  • Provide strategic thinking and hands-on oversight to ensure high client satisfaction and maintain a high level of Human Capital subject matter knowledge
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational and client initiatives
  • Work closely with the Director of Talent in Europe to provide proactive leadership and align Human Capital initiatives with business goals
Requirements
  • At least 15 years of UK & European HR Generalist experience
  • Strong Employee Relations experience is essential
  • 10 years of leadership/management experience - leading projects and HR teams, advising business leaders on Human Capital matters, advocating for Human Capital policy or other initiatives, and managing a team
  • Experience gained from the management consulting, professional services, or financial services sectors
  • Solid knowledge of HR operational activities (benefits, payroll, tax, employment law)
  • A CIPD qualification and/or a Law degree (with focus on employment law) is preferred
