Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join our dedicated team. This is a permanent, part-time role requiring (INSERT HOURS) hours per week, with shifts from (INSERT SHIFT START TIME) to (INSERT SHIFT END TIME) from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness in designated areas within the Halls of Residence, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
  • Perform vacuuming, spot cleaning, and carpet shampooing, as well as sweeping and polishing floors.
  • Wash walls, doors, furniture, and other surfaces as necessary.
  • Manage waste disposal by emptying bins and transporting rubbish to designated areas.
  • During peak conference periods: Prepare beds, including changing linens and managing laundry.
  • Clean internal and external windows as required.
  • Rearrange furniture as needed to facilitate cleaning.
  • Wash and sanitize kitchenware, including glasses, cutlery, and utensils.
  • Exhibit flexibility in scheduling, particularly during key student arrival and departure periods.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Collaboration:
Engage daily with residents, Residence Managers, and UPP staff, and occasionally liaise with specialized contractors and university maintenance teams.

Requirements:
A conversational proficiency in English is essential, along with the ability to comprehend basic Health & Safety guidelines.
