We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at Randstad Education. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of children with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to children with special educational needs, tailored to their specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and SENCOs to develop and implement effective support strategies.
  • Liaise with other professionals, such as teachers, TAs, and specialist support staff, to ensure seamless support for children.
  • Work closely with other Learning Support Assistants and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and track the progress of children, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Ability to engage with and build rapport with children, including those with challenging behaviors.
  • Flexibility and creativity in supporting children's learning and development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a TA qualification.
