About the Job:

As our new Executive Chef, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and developing the Omakase team to ensure all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation
  • Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring the freshness and quality of all ingredients
  • Ensuring the smooth running of the sushi and Omakase sections, optimizing workflow and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Omakase Chef within a high-end Japanese restaurant
  • Extensive knowledge of Omakase techniques, with a strong understanding of Japanese culinary traditions
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety, HACCP, sanitation, and personal hygiene practices
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle the pressures of a busy kitchen
  • Passion for food, working with high-quality ingredients, and hospitality
