As a key member of our Prospero Integrated team, you will be responsible for leading and developing our scenic workshop team, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our operations.

  • Oversee the day-to-day tasks of the workshop and scenic warehouse team, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
  • Manage the construction and preparation process of our equipment, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective stock management systems for workshop materials and consumables.
  • Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of workshop equipment and tools, minimizing downtime and optimizing productivity.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Scenic to provide input on construction design and material specification for custom scenic elements.
  • Participate in hands-on construction of scenic products, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Support other departments as needed, contributing to the overall success of the business.
Qualifications & Key Attributes

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in scenic construction and leadership.

  • At least 5 years of experience in the live events industry, with a specialization in scenic construction.
  • Proven ability to lead by example, motivate teams, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and CAD plans.
  • Strong working knowledge of workshop tools and machinery, with a focus on carpentry and materials management.
  • Experience with CNC machines is an advantage, but not essential.
