About the Role:

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Energy and Sustainability Consultant to join their team in a multidisciplinary building services consultancy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainability and energy, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake Part L analysis and produce EPCs for non-domestic properties
  • Produce design reports, including sustainability and LZC feasibility studies
  • Use IES software to produce thermal models and carry out Part O and daylight assessments
  • Undertake site visits and inspections for commercial projects

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Sustainability Consultant within the construction industry
  • A degree in a sustainability, energy, or environmental science field
  • A Non-Domestic Energy Assessor qualification, with demonstratable experience of carrying out EPCs for commercial projects
  • Working experience with IES-VE software to carry out energy modelling
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
