This role presents an excellent opportunity to embark on a career in Human Resources. The Human Resources Coordinator will engage in various HR functions that are integral to the employee journey, encompassing talent acquisition, onboarding processes, compensation and benefits, employee wellness, and performance evaluation.
Role Details
Position: Human Resources Coordinator (Apprentice Level 3)
Contract Type: Fixed Term - 18 months
Working Hours: 37 hours/week
Compensation: £22,000 - £24,000
Key Responsibilities
- HR Administration: Assist the HR team, manage employee data, resolve HRIS queries, and respond to inquiries. Oversee annual salary reviews and contract modifications. Accurately document minutes during HR meetings and conduct exit interviews.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Coordinate interview schedules, manage job postings, and support new employees. Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure completion of employment verifications. Advocate for work experience opportunities.
- Employee Wellness: Organize wellness initiatives, create wellness communications, and arrange health assessments.
- Performance Evaluation: Manage performance review processes, assist with Learning Management System (LMS) implementation, and facilitate training coordination.
- Additional Support: Plan internal and external events, provide administrative assistance across the organization, and support reception duties.
Candidate Profile
- Genuine interest in Human Resources with strong communication and IT capabilities.
- Detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and maintaining confidentiality.
- Prior experience in administrative or customer service roles.
Qualifications
- Education: Minimum GCSE Grade C/4 in English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, effective time management, organizational skills, and understanding of GDPR regulations.
