Job Title: Corporate Credit Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Corporate Credit Controller to join our Finance team in Ashford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring adherence to contractual payment terms and credit limits, and mitigating risk and potential bad debts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely payment and adherence to credit limits.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers, internal colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues promptly and accurately.
  • Meet period-targeted KPIs using department procedures.
  • Receive and record incoming calls, queries, and other communications.
  • Manage queries, providing copy invoices, proof of delivery, credit notes, and liaising internally to progress any issues.
  • Attend internal and external customer meetings.
  • Escalate internal or payment issues with customers to management.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement best practices to positively impact business results.

Requirements:

  • No previous finance experience required, as training will be provided.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with external customers and internal colleagues at all levels.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and other advanced features.
