We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Corporate Credit Controller to join our Finance team at Brakes Food Shop.
This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about finance and has a strong interest in credit control. As a Corporate Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring adherence to contractual payment terms and credit limits, mitigating risk and potential bad debts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely payment and adherence to credit limits.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal colleagues and external partners.
- Respond to incoming calls and record queries promptly and accurately.
- Manage queries and resolve issues related to payment, credit notes, and invoices.
- Perform other duties as requested by the Team Leader/Manager.
Requirements:
- No prior finance experience is required, as training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookups.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
