We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our Neurodevelopmental Team at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology and experience working with children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans that address the complex needs of children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for children and adolescents with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with children, adolescents, and their families, as well as with other professionals and agencies.
- Participate in the CAMHS multi-disciplinary on-call system for emergency referrals.
- Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology as accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Experience of working with children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders and their families.
- Excellent assessment, formulation, and treatment skills, with the ability to work with complex and sensitive information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, and their families, as well as with other professionals and agencies.
