Position Overview


The Educational Support Facilitator plays a crucial role in assisting Development Workers at Pursuing Independent Paths (PiP) to implement a dynamic array of educational and developmental programs. This position ensures that learners are actively engaged and able to participate fully in sessions, maximizing their opportunities for growth and skill acquisition.

This role encompasses the delivery of educational sessions, tracking and documenting learner progress, and fulfilling key responsibilities such as collaborating with support networks and contributing to PiP's broader initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or similar vulnerable populations in educational or care environments.
  • A strong dedication to person-centered support and advocacy.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to be a supportive team member.

  • A calm, creative approach to problem-solving and challenges.

Benefits Offered:

  • 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, with flexibility in taking leave throughout the year.
  • An additional day of leave for each year of service, up to a total of 30 days.
