Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Decontamination Technician to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As a Decontamination Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our endoscopy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Decontamination Lead and work collaboratively with the decontamination team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Assess and prioritize workload to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct daily tests of equipment and machinery to ensure compliance with procedures and guidelines.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment and instrumentation to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

  • Identify and resolve issues promptly, maintaining open communication with end-users regarding production and turnaround times.
