About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Localization Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end translation and localization projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Manage end-to-end translation and localization projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.
- Risk Assessment and Issue Resolution: Proactively assess project risks and potential issues, resolve and close identified gaps before they arise.
- Documentation Management: Proof, check, and format documentation when translators deliver final translated documents with a high level of attention to detail.
- Client Communication: Set and manage regular phone calls and Teams face-to-face meetings to take care of our clients' needs.
- Supplier Management: Manage a large number of suppliers, ensuring project resources maintain a high level of quality, professional, and ethical standards.
- Project Delivery: Ensure all client projects are delivered on or before deadlines agreed with clients.
- Progress Updates: Provide daily updates on the progress of projects.
Requirements:
- Project Management Experience: 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the translation or multi-lingual multi-media industry.
- Client Relationship Management: Experience in client relationship management, engagement, and management, with a focus on higher-value contracts and clients.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Rapport Building: A high degree of strong rapport building as part of client relationship management is essential.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively lead the identification of any potential issues and provide well-thought-through solutions.
- Ownership and Accountability: Show evidence of taking ownership of assigned projects and/or tasks to ensure success, working closely with the PM team and management.
- Client Satisfaction: Maintain client satisfaction and excellent customer service, going above and beyond when required.
- Quality and Budget Management: Ensure quality requirements and budgets are met and exceeded.
Ideal Candidate:
- Client Service Delivery: Must be driven and passionate about client service delivery and have very high levels of attention to detail.
- Education: A minimum of a degree education.
- Collaboration: A collaborative worker, with experience of working in a small team environment.
- Translation or Multi-Lingual Multi-Media Industry: 1 year of experience in the translation or multi-lingual multi-media industry (preferred).
- Project Management: 3 years of experience in project management (required).
- Language: English (required).
- Competing Demands: Ability to manage competing demands, key milestones, and projects on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for a range of clients.
- Pressure and Change: Ability to work under pressure and in a changing environment.
