Job Title: Localization Senior Project Manager

This role involves overseeing assigned translation and localization projects, as well as developing and executing diverse initiatives. A strong problem-solving mindset, ability to work independently, and collaboration with a team are essential.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end translation and localization projects
  • Proactively assess project risks and potential issues, resolve and close identified gaps before they arise
  • Proof, check, and format documentation with a high level of attention to detail
  • Set and manage regular phone calls and Teams meetings to ensure client needs are met
  • Manage a large number of suppliers and ensure project resources maintain high quality, professional, and ethical standards
  • Ensure all client projects are delivered on or before deadlines agreed with clients
  • Provide daily updates on project progress

Requirements:

  • Project Management experience in the translation or multi-lingual multi-media industry
  • Client relationship, engagement, and management experience, with experience of managing higher value contracts and clients
  • Take ownership of client projects under supervision of the Management team
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and team of linguists at all times
  • A high degree of strong rapport building as part of client relationship management is essential
  • Proactively lead the identification of any potential issues and provide well thought through solutions
  • Show evidence of taking ownership of assigned projects and/or tasks to ensure success
  • Maintain client satisfaction and excellent customer service
  • Ensure quality requirements and budgets are met and exceeded

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must be driven and passionate about client service delivery and have very high levels of attention to detail
  • Must be a minimum of degree educated
  • A collaborative worker with experience of working in a small team environment
  • Education: Bachelor's (required)
  • Translation or multi-lingual multi-media industry, 1 year (preferred)
  • Project Management: 3 years (required)
  • Language: English (required)
  • Ability to manage competing demands, key milestones, and projects on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for a range of clients
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a changing environment
