Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support major national and international projects in Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) to drive sustainable growth and reduce environmental impact.
  • Contribute to the advancement of CCUS projects with expertise in process engineering, ensuring efficient and effective solutions.
  • Develop and prepare feasibility studies for research and development projects, analyzing technical and economic viability.
  • Manage contractors in terms of scope, budget, and deadlines, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
  • Design and develop specifications for plants and systems, considering safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Inspect existing plants and develop solutions for CCS retrofitting, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.
  • Concept development, design planning, and procurement of plants and systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Your Ideal Profile:

  • Hold a university degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a related field.
  • Bring a minimum of five years of professional experience in operations or challenging projects, with a strong track record of success.
  • Have experience in tendering and processing power plant components, with a deep understanding of technical specifications.
  • Possess strong communication skills and business fluency in English, with the ability to effectively collaborate with international teams.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in CCUS and knowledge of water treatment, flue gas cleaning, and other related areas.
  • Proficiency in German or Dutch language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with local stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel for business, with a flexible approach to work arrangements.
