Job Description

Wayman Group is seeking a qualified and experienced Science Teacher to join our team in a fantastic school in Derbyshire. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver Science lessons in accordance with the national curriculum, utilizing a range of resources and techniques to create engaging and interactive lessons.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students of varying abilities and learning styles, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and senior management, utilizing strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of Science education.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience of teaching Science at primary and/or secondary level, with excellent knowledge of the national curriculum.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
