About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Software Developer to join our team at Waters Corporation. As a Research Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing and developing prototype software solutions for our instrumentation, as well as software for post-processing applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software solutions for Waters instrumentation, including prototype software and post-processing applications.
  • Work within a small, multi-disciplinary team structure to develop and maintain software for the Global Research Group.
  • Provide software and technical support to users internal and external to the group, and company.
  • Maintain the effectiveness of the Quality and Environmental system at the sites via adherence to applicable policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Degree in a science, engineering, or computing-related subject and 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in a relevant programming language (or related discipline).
  • Very good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work with moderate guidance and communicate with all levels of the group.
  • Computer literate.
