Job Description

**Job Summary**

Morson Talent is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to support the bid process for a prestigious Aerospace/Defence client in the UK. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and advice to support the bid process and ongoing contract delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide financial data and analysis to support the bid process for UK MOD and International Military Aircraft contracts.
  • Translate customer bid requirements into actionable financial insights.
  • Consolidate bids and cost data from across company locations and external partners.
  • Establish and predict cash contract value and annual cash accrual.
  • Provide cost/sales value projections year on year.
  • Critically review proposals to ensure costs are complete.
  • Manage financial risk associated with bid submissions.
  • Support UK and International business units through negotiations.
  • Complete financial analysis for contract flow down between legal entities and departments.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in bid finance or pricing is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to liaise with senior project managers, commercial, engineering, manufacturing, and supplier organisations.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interact at all levels within the Company.
  • Ability to understand supporting systems and processes and generate continuous improvement.
  • Good Excel skills are essential.
