About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sanitation Technician to join our team at Kellanova. As a key member of our Hygiene and Sanitation department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and housekeeping across our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance and Regulatory Management - Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory regulations, and industry standards for sanitation and housekeeping.
  • Master Sanitation Schedule Development - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and continuously improve the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) to ensure optimal sanitation and housekeeping practices.
  • Pest Management and Control - Support pest management activities, including on-site management of pest visit actions and recommendations.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) - Develop, maintain, and implement SSOPs for plant-wide cleaning activities, working closely with relevant stakeholders.
  • Cleaning Documentation and Record-Keeping - Develop, maintain, and implement end-of-run cleaning documentation and record-keeping processes to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education and Certifications - HACCP knowledge and a Food Science or related scientific qualification.
  • Experience and Skills - Comprehensive understanding of sanitation systems, manufacturing plant process systems, quality and food safety programs, and controls.
  • Personal Qualities - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
